Face to face counselling.
Face to face session are conducted in a welcoming and private therapy room in St Ann's Sqaure in Central Manchester. The location is accessible by all modes of transport. Face to face sessions are priced at £60-70.
Video counselling.
Sessions will take place via Zoom or Teams.It is important you have a private quiet space where you would not be disturbed for the duration of the session. Video sessions are priced between £50-£55 and can be determined prior to our first session.
Telephone counselling
Telephone sessions require a private and quiet space where you are able to talk on the phone without being disturbed. Telephone sessions are priced between £50 and can be determined prior to our first session
Why can therapy be so expensive?.
For therapists in private practice such as myself, there are many overheads to consider. For transparency, the overall cost you pay per session does not reflect the wage that I make. My fee has to taken into consideration things such as self-employed tax, NI, private pension, holiday and sick pay. As well as other costs such as rent, energy bills, transport, equipment, advertising, training, admin fees and much more
I do believe therapy should be an accessible service and provide concessionary rates for students, trainee therapists, low-income or unwaged. Please contact me to discuss this further.
